Guys;
Just got the deal of the centry. I got a 1943 dated izzy that has been made into a sniper with one of the new PU scope and mount for $100.00!!!! I know its not a real one, but I use it for reenacting anyway.

That looks nice sapper,the woodwork looks in good condition too.
Doesn't it look good to spot through that scope as well.I've used mine at private battles and square heads do show up well through the PU.

I thought I would share how I put camo on my rifle. First I got some tan burlap or sack cloth that I got at a local fabric store, and a roll of twine from the same store. Next I wrapped the rifle with the burlap, not like an ace bandage, but more like bunching with lots of bulges and folds. I then put the twine around the rifle, this has two reasons, 1 to hold the burlap and 2 to hold local camo. Last I camoed the scope, just like the rifle. There is no disruption to the operation of the scope or the rifle action, but the effect is to disrupt the outline of the rifle and cut the glare of the laminated stock. Here are the pics.

I hope this helps;
