I don't know if it has been posted already and I have just missed it
but am I correct in thinking we are doing early war again?

So it will be 35 pattern Gyms with coloured pitlitsi.

Plus thin red stripe along the centre for those of us on the first rung of the rank ladder.

No, I think it's Obr35s with subdued pitlitsii and a thin homemade black or khaki line in cloth, chemical pencil or paint for us in the line of command. Didn't you see the thread on the NCOs section?

Hi Guys, we will arrange to have breakfast at about 8.30am.

The sun is shinning here in the East Midlands. 8) It has rained everyday so far this week.

Cheers, Ade.

Just soted my kit, going to look weird getting a train with a bundle of barbed wire, a load of stakes an a big bag. Just realised that I've lost my good Pilotka, going to have to use one of the 4 others I have reserved for just this purpose.

I can imagine the sort of conversation that will ensue:
"Here, aint you one of those ruskie fellas, you know, the serviettes?"
"Nyet."

My face feels like it is on fire, my eyes are still bloodshot and I stink, all signs of a great weekend. Great work by the NCO's who flogged their guts out all weekend, training was great fun.

Just in, manky, smelly and covered in straw. On the positive side, nicely weathered, happy and looking forward to next time. Well done everyone who took part and made this such a memorable weekend.
Low points: RLA fools smashing the furniture and knackering themselves while drunk on Friday night.
High points: Good turnout, matching new names to faces, three successful public displays, Ray winning the excellent navigator badge getting to the venue on Friday evening.

Surely the excellent navigator badge should go to the the comrade who provided the kapitan with directions

Seriously, a cracking weekend. Great teamwork and spirit, excellent grub. A big thanks to everyone for making my 1st event so enjoyable.
Looking fwd to the next one, Urrahh!

I just want to say "ta" to everyone I met this weekend at Belvoir and that I enjoyed every moment of it.
I was made to feel very welcome in a way I have never come across before,.
I also felt the unit was as professional (and fun) as I had hoped.
Cheers guys (and Gal)
Lez , sorry I missed you to say goodbye to but thanks for the ace grub, my stomach salutes you !!
See you soon,

forgot to say , to the two teams who took part in the maxim time trails , fantastic team spirit on a very hot day :D
nevski may have come second in both events , but the commisar is looking into suvorov`s use of belts for towing , and the protest i have put in of a false start by the suorov team

( i would like to add nevski were faultless in the arena 8) :D  )
