Sadly, chaps, I'm afraid I'm going to have to drop out of going to Nelson this year. I can't find a low cost way of getting down to Portsmouth, and money is VERY tight this year.
I hope you all have a great time, though. I'm sad to be missing the debut of the PTRDs, especially.

I am definitely coming to Ft Nelson with the new trained-slug on my lip.
Barry has said he is coming too plus two new members he has recruited locally.
I can`t wait to see Colins new anti tank masterpiece.

Aren't the rounds the same for the PTRS as the PTRD?

Hi Walter, I will try and fit the PTRS in. Yes the rounds are the same 14.5mm for both weapons.

Cheers Ade ,I know it's a squeeze getting everything in the car.
Even though we all like to see yhe PTRS at events,we do like to eat as well so bringing the cooker lady is quite important too.I'll leave you to make the decision which to bring.
By the way I've still got the massive cook pot at home because it wouldn't fit in skippy.Do you want me to bring it to Ft nelson as we have a good contingent of comrades coming to this event?
I'll just sit back now and wait the flak from Lez.
