I wonder if they will want you to fire it as part of the firepower demonstration for the public.
I remember how loud the nagant is when you get the echo from the fort walls.
just think how loud the ptrd will be.I bet a few grannies in the crowd will fill their pants.

I think its a bloody cheek tht english heritage members have to pay concessions for event days, but if im off I might have a peek and see whats going on, I dnt think soviet have been there for three years....new event ?

walter , we should do more events oop north , but most seem to be down south or in the midlands .

hi Allan , i hope that Paul ( the quartermaster ) will be there , he has usually got bits of kit with him .
we shall know who`s going as soon as they post a list on here of attendees .
im sure we can sort out some spare kit if you need it .

only 16 , thought there would be more since we have a membership in the 70`s .
being Easter weekend must have something to do with it , family commitments an all that .
