Does tht mean paul is not going? I emailed him but have had no reply I really dont want to do fort nelson in a skirt. Has anyone got any sharavari and moustches that i could beg steal buy or borrow for this event please?

Just been out and done the unit shopping, bar the bread. So if your name was not on the list you ain't eating 
Please note that we do not cook on Saturday night. Either bring something with you to eat or perhaps some kind comrade will do a chip shop run like previous years.

Just had this message from Dutch as he lives local to Ft Nelson:
Ade & Lez,
I know it's the 11th hour, but the weather down here has turned quite nasty for the weekend. I don't have many contact addresses for 2nd Guards, so was asking if you are able to send a mail round warning folks to pack their warm & wet clothing etc, temp is dropping below zero at night down here at the moment. Lots of rain and high winds expected as well, we have just had a ferocious hail storm from hell, but there are some sunny moments as well.

Yeah you havent had it for the last two weeks, the other day it was really sunny so took the horses out and the worst hail storm jut appeared its madness....

Has anyone got any sharavari(trousers) that i can borrow or buy at fort nelson other im gonna have some cold knees. As few of you know been a &^%$ time for me ont he financial front so have only got the money to buy them now

Sorry Ade, only just picked up your latest message about attendees and noticed that Emma wasn't on it! I let Ray know that I'd be bringing Emma over Sunday morning and she'd be doing 2 days - I'll just be overnighting on Sunday then back Monday with family as civi!
Don't worry about the weather reports - remember this is the south and people panic round here if there's a mild frost! We are getting very occasional snow flurries but it's far from cold and the sun shines in between!

What an excellent event Fort Nelson was this year!
A big thanks to everyone who helped organise it.
Comiserations to Niel on the blown head gasket on his T34. hope he gets it back home & fixed up OK.
Looking forward to next year already.

I'd also like to say what a great time I had.You couldn't have got a better set up than the tractorless tractor factory,it was excellent.
The public that made the effort seemed to enjoy it also.
The food once again was superb and I even enjoyed a taste of veggie bolognaise.I may be converted.
