Got a pair of 10 ankle boots and officers high leather boots that I used (and others still use) until I got sapogi.

Yeah, I would recomend british army ones, you can find them at most army surplus stores, also what boots are you using?

Remember it is 2 pairs sewn together because they go higher up the leg than normal Brits wear them.

Thanks for the info on the puttees. I'll try to find Sapogi boots first, if I'm can't get hold of any then I'll switch to the ankle boots/puttees
