Just found this site a couple weeks ago while looking for info on the Meshok.
I am a WW2 Soviet reenactor in the Northwest USA- Oregon. Posted a couple pictures on the "Sale" board in response to my posting there, but thought I should introduce myself.
My love is the PPSh-41, which I've been shooting and participating in competition in this country about 20 years. My website is www.ppsh41.com. I've just started reenacting last year, so I'm fairly new to this sport. It has given me a new appreciation of the PPSh in actual combat situations. The short barrel is an advantage while maneuvering in wooded and brushy areas. The high cyclic rate is good for suppression fire. Even though heavy, the 71 round drum limits the number of times one needs to reload. I enjoy looking at the pictures of your events and will be checking in on this site weekly.
