Greetings from the Midwest of the U.S.A.
My primary portrayal is GPW RKKA.
I am commander of a re-enactment unit which portrays the 416th Rifle Regiment, 112th Rifle Division of the RKKA. I narrow my focus to that of researching scouts and snipers of the RKKA. I am dabbling a little into the field of the VDV(paratroopers) as something else to occupy my time.
I also take part in Spanish-american War(1898) re-enacting as a Spanish Rifleman of the 25th Rifle Battalion. Plus the American Civil War as a Rifleman of the various Federal Sharpshooter units. Plus I do WWII GI as USMC and as well as a trooper in the 106th Cavalry Recon Squadron, Illinois National Guard.
I ran across the forum and l like what I see.
I look forward to future exchanges of information.
Sincerely,
Robert Leinweber aka Dima

Welcome to the forum Robert; I'm sure you will enjoy the threads.
I have just finished reading (for the 2nd time) Nikolai Litvin's memoir- 800 Days on the Eastern front- he served in the 4th (I think) Guards Airborne in their anti-tank artillery section. It is a great book- presuming you haven't read it already. He also did time in a straffbatt, and not many of those guys got to write memoires.

Hello Robert and welcome to the forum.
Have you any pictures of your goup you could share.
It's good to know that interest in the RKKA is growing across the pond.
