Dear Friends,
just wanted to let you know that we are starting a campaign among Russia-based reenactors for Detling. Hopefully we will be a big crowd again coming with a bus. German, Red Army, Finnish Army, British Army WWII reenactors have expressed their interest in the trip.

From Spain, we go Detling with the 2 Guards, if this its possible, of course. This year we go more frontovikis, about 4 or 5, i think.

We need as many unit members as possible at this event including Biar and his comrades, Petitov and his Spanish comrades and Jean Phillippe Arreteau with his French comrades!
We all have work to do comrades in getting fellow unit members to attend and support their unit at Military Odyssey.

Been offline for quite some while due to family bereavement and illness. But 2009 seems to be settling down at long last and am looking forward to Detling. Tavarich Kapitan please let me know when passes will be issued.

Thank you very much, this year (because the "crisis") we dont travel to Detling, but a few group go to Beltring, we wear russian uniform only and we make a little display of soviet campament, we practise close order, cooking...living history!!!!

2nd Guards Rifle Division
This will be a big show so we need everyone to make an effort to support the unit. Apart from our living history display, we are part of the Eastern Front battle and need a good turnout to make our scenario look credible, with armoured vehicles, artillery, troops and a Yak fighter! So please support the 2nd Guards Rifle Division.
