Comrades,
I thought I might join up here and learn something from my kindred brethren from across the pond. My name is Warren Dickinson, and I am a member of the 19th Guards Mechanized Brigade, 8th Guards Mechanized Corps. I used to do living history and reenacting from 1981-1997 both as an avocation and vocation, mostly American Civil War, but some WWII GI and German thrown in as well. I always wanted to develop an RKKA impression, but real life got in the way. Enter a teenage son who I somehow infected with a love for all things Russian, and so now here I am enjoying this all over again, but with him. Twice as much fun if you ask me.
Anyway, I hope I can contribute, if at all possible, and hope to learn much.

Thanks for the welcome comrades. It has been very interesting so far Fyedor! We'll both be going to our ""Digging for Victory!" work weekend at our event site next weekend. If we get any good shots of us working on our trench system, I'll try and post them.
