These might be well known or dodgy ,I dont know as its a new subject(when do they end???) for me,I found them via a rather obscure trawl so they might be new to a few people. The subjects are fairly obvious from the links

some good pics there kai.

I wonder how many more tanks will be found in bogs and rivers etc.
There must be lots still yo be uncovered when you think of the vast numbers that were engaged during the war.

Still thousands to find, Wal. There's at least 8 more KV-1s to find in the silt at the bottom of the Neva level with the museum (a whole company went under the ice there). As for Karelia - there's a hundred miles of bog, god knows what's under there!

Mmmmm...remind me next time we go to St.Petes to take a metal detector,an entrenching tool and a recovery truck with a fifty ton winch.

Should make the return flight via Ryan Air interesting
