Hello Domonik

I had an email from Alex on 11th November saying the same thing but I still have nothing and he does not answer my e mails. Today I sent an e mail to Alex saying that if I do not receive my stuff by the end of January I will inform as many Soviet reenactor forums as possible to publicise his bad treatment of us. Also I will inform Western Union so that they are aware of the situation. I told him that there are a lot of us awaiting orders and that we will not be using him again if he does not fulfil our orders.

If Customs are the problem and not Alex it still does not explain why he continually ignores our emails.

Not replying to emails is never good, but I've noticed that Alex is not the only one like this, I can think of at least 2 others who will happily exchange emails if they think an order and therefore some money is comming their way (apart from trident who are only interested in placed orders), and then after they have sent the goods they are not so keen to reply.
Is anyone having problems with kit from Soviet-power?
I think there was some stuff floating on red-alliance about problems with orders, their in the Ukraine as well, which is why I wonder, I know SP are a biT dodgy but I expect better from FOR.

I've used most of these traders over the past few years and have had little problem from them, but I put in just small orders at a time; I don't make another order until I recieve the first. Main considerations are that mail from the Ukraine and Russian Federation can take a darn long time depending what area it comes from; then there are the problems with customs officials of those countries and other dishonest individuals (a global problem). The traders should have information of what they are not allowed to send outside of their country, and in this case what is deemed a historical item, which it seems could be anything up to and some cases beyond the 1950's. The last info I had was there would be a ban on original medals and orders leaving these countries as well. So be warned, be careful, be safe, and don't make large orders! Whether Alex has sent your orders or not, he should follow up any problems and at least keep his customers properly informed. It might be a good idea to send him a link to this site and let him read all these complaints!

We've had the same thing over at the airsoft re-enactment forums, myself being one of the 10 or so people that have spent between £80-150. Alex has been ignoring the emails of the poor lad who collected everyones money and placed the order, but has responded to a number of us who were faking interested in new orders. We've then replied saying, so where is this order from our friend, to which he again goes quiet about.

Our game is on the 24th Jan, we placed the orders at the middle of November, and havent heard anything from him since the middle of december. Not holding out much now for getting any of what I ordered if you lot have been waiting since the middle of last year, I shouldn't have thought any value order should be ignored, especially ones exceeding £1000!!

Just an update on my continuing saga with Front of Russia. I sent Alex an email on 28th Dec with an ultimatum. I've had NO response and NO stuff arrive. If he doesn't get my stuff to me by the end of Jan I will post what has happened on other forums and inform Western Union (for all the good it'll do me) I see from another post that Webbykov had an email recently from Alex saying his stuff will be sent. I have had more than one of these promises and still nothing. No email no nothing. It's getting kind of ridiculous when you put an order in in early July, the money is collected the next day and the following January still NOTHING.

Hi Domonik
This is good news indeed!! :D

If you're in contact with Alex again, ask him if he would send my parcel. It's only two and a half years late!

Hugh

Really pleased you got your stuff Domonik. It's been 7 months now since I placed my order, not as bad as you though Hugh. Has Alex ever contacted you (apart from asking for the money)? I keep hoping I'll come home one day and find a parcel but I'm fast losing faith in that ever happening. Even if my stuff tuns up eventually, I will not be ordering from Alex again, it is too risky. It is a shame because he has a lot of good stuff but it appears he has let a lot of us down. I last heard from Alex last November. I sent him an email yesterday and may send him a letter via snail mail to keep up the pressure. If it's not his fault the least he could do is communicate with me.

Please give me your name and so on ... I write to him.

I sent him an email every day last week, I did not let go!

So you should do, and then write again to the order numbers.

Alex has even apologized to me:)

Great pictures Domonik, you have a lot of kit there. I shall do as you suggest and email Alex everyday with my order numbers too. I shall not give up yet.

Comrades,
I know that I have posted on this forum before of how I got ripped off by Alex at FOR. If you have been taken by him too, would you be so kind as to post a review to this site:

http://www.greendevils.com/Consumer/ven ... CTION=VIEW

If enough of us do this, then maybe he'll straighten up.

Yuri S.

I posted a review once before, but it never appeared, I hope the one I recently did, and yours does too.

Warren

PS: BTW, it's not my site. :)

Hi Domonik
can't really remember the content of my order as it was May 2007. There was an NCOs peaked cap and a pair of ankle boots and puttees. Can't remember what else I ordered. Thankfully it wasn't a big order.

Have placed a review on the site all those other gushing reviews made me feel sick. Keep 90% of your customers happy and no-one will listing to the 10% you treat like crap
