This small show started out as one which Lez and myself did on our own back in 2002 and has now progressed to a firm favourite within the group.

To those of you who have not been before, this is a railway hosted event with a difference. The living history displays are all set in a small wooded area across the tracks and opposite the station platform. We are given a toally free hand by Jackie, the railway manageress, to do exactly as we wish. Foxholes and trenches being dug by their resident JCB etc.

On Friday evening a cut price offer of burger, salad and chips will again be provided. (Funny thing is the guy who ran this stall has now taken up WW2 LH since seeing folks at this event )

The German group attending will be Second Battle Group who we have a very good working relationship with.

Once again there will be a chance for a small skirmish.

Our theme for this event will be a Partizan group with some Red Army advisors. So if you wish to be a Partizan for this event, get in your order with Huw for some period civvy clothing. I know that Nick is keen to do some "Ray Mears" type demonstrations to the public at this one showing how the Partizans lived.

will we be able to wear our normal red army uniforms?

Hi Sam, yes. Normal RKKA uniform for those who wish to do so.

The Partizans will wear a mixture civvy clothes and uniform like which was done in reality.

Camo suits etc are fine to use at this event.

Will be there with the Shabby Yiddisher Tribal contingent, will have partisan kit to sell and also some to loan on the day.

looking forward to this event as it will be our first partisan scenario. Plan to portray a razvedchik officer 'advisor' to the partisans.

I am already being asked for numbers wishing to attend this event by the organisers.

There will be a skirmish as in previous years.

They would like to know our ammo requirements (suject to a budget being set) and also if we wish to hire weapons from Gary Howard for the event. Gary has some nice SVT40's.
