I like the look of the SU100 too.It really does look like a tank killer, fast chassis ,good suspension, sloped armour and a f**k off big gun.
fantastic.

I'd prefer a "Zveroboy"
Now that is a beast!
Or an IS3!!

You and your postwar commie iron! What's wrong with an IS-2?
(Comrades - can any of you lend me 1000000 Czech Crowns? I won't waste it, word of honour...)

Radu- if you buy that tank- I'll let you off the £20 you owe me. Or at least give you longer to pay it back- like I always say- its the money, not the principle.

Just found a supplier of blank ammunition at sensible prices.
I bought 100 rnds of 7.92 (8x57) Mauser Blanks at £21.36 +vat
and 100 7.62x54R for £21.70 +vat.
they sell short and long 7.62 (.......Maxim?)
The details are:
Tel 01202 4730 30
guns@shootingandscuba.co.uk
TAL Shooting and Scuba,
8 St Catherines Parade,
Fairmile Road,
Christchurch, Dorset,
BH23 2LQ.
They buy several times a year and if you ask they will put things aside. Also they do not charge until it is despatched.
Can be sent via Parcel Force.
Can be paid for with Paypal,Credit or Debit cards. I used SWITCH/MAESTRO
Very helpful people.

The forum did that ....honest !
It came up with the "Debug mode" then sent it anyhow.
But they are a very friendly and patient company to deal with ( I couldn`t decide how many rounds of 7.62 to buy and the 7.92 is due in in a couple of weks) !
They do a lot more kit I have not looked at properly too.

I know that the tank museum in Poznan is rebuilding their IS-2 back to running condition...
They already have an SU85 running there (although it has wooden superstructure to try and make it look like a Jagdpanther - but I suppose they have to have someone to shoot at!)

I consider myself lucky to have been to Duxford a couple of times and have seen the ISU152 and the IS2 both running.
I'm going all gooey thinking about them.
