A quick question: Does anyone know the correct position for standing at ease, using wartime Soviet drill?

I've managed to work out most of the basic commands, but the "At ease" command (Вольно) confuses me. The way I read it, it's exactly the same as standing at attention, except you relax the knees a bit? Is this correct, or am I missing something here?

I'm using http://www.rkka.ru/docs/real/su38/main.htm as my source, but my Russian is really shabby, even when using a dictionary.

Could anyone enlighten me on this?

/Z

Yes just the same, and the left hand slides down and round, just like the fascists.

Only it is more relaxed - not really snappy like the fash do.

Of course! I shall sentence myself to 10 minutes in Siberia for such a slip of political perception ;-)

Da! Comrades, the use of the Word " Progressive" covers just about anything "Soviet" in nature.
