Greetings Comrades.
Long have I toiled to put together my ( Purely Defensive ) Red Army ensemble. I now feel that the time has almost come to take my place beside my comrades in the line to rid the motherland of the Gitlerite invader !
I work some weekends, and am in another living history group but I'd like to join a Soviet group in time to take part in some events in the new season. Could anyone advise me of the better group to join geographically. I live in Kent and would welcome the opportunity to share a few jars and a yarn with any comrades so disposed in my area !

Welcome comrade.
The 2nd guards have quite a few members in the kent area but we have members all over the countr. we also do events all over the country.
what other group are you a member of?
all the soviet groups get along and work together at some shows so I luck forward to sharing a vodka at an event in the future.

Welcome to the forum!
As Andy mentioned, 2nd Guards are a national group, and we do shows all over the UK. Our biggest event of the year is always Detling in your home county of Kent

Thank you very much for your warm welcome.
Brilliant Photo's - I will indeed do my utmost to attend Felixstan on Sunday.
I am shooting my Czarist (but reconciled) Mosin Nagant against imperialist Enfields at BisleyGrad on Saturday - inevitably this will be followed by a number of 'captured' Gitlerite brewed Beverages and probably a good deal of allied ones also.
I shall depart Bisleygrad in the dawn and rush for Felixstan !

Moscow Centre  will be requiring your Contact Reports on your contact with inferior Gitlerite and Imperialistic Beverages...
