I haven't received the newly promoted Mladshiy Serzhants plans for the training programme as of yet for this event. I guess that you may be still working on it but I need to know what's planned well before this event.

It's not too late for any unit member to put their name down for this event. Please do ASAP.

In case I am not on list ,please count me as attending.

My Trident order arrived yesterday so now I have the rasvedchik suits as planned.
The High turret mounts arrived this week (for the Mauser) and I have ordered a PE mount for the Nagant.
That would give us two other sniper combinations in the unit ,if all goes well, and added variety for the MOPS to look at.
I am waiting for a German x3 Scope to arrive from the States and that will go on the Mauser.
I pick up another Mauser and Nagant from the Ryton "Big-Boys-Toys Emporium" soon and the PU scope will go on the other Nagant.
So at this rate we could make up a sniper section within the group if the scenario called for it .
Looks like a fun year ahead; but fitting the sights mounts will mean refreshing my Instrument Technician skills !!

Just a quick announcement to anyone whom I asked to give Tara a lift- she is starting her exams the week after Belvoir & we thought it best that she concentrates on those. I shall be at Belvoir Friday evening - I am on a work detachment 'oop north' the week before.

This also means that I shall not be able to bring any weapons along with me, so can I borrow something?

We could involve our public by getting them lined up in our parade and put them through some Russian drill as well as folding the plashe and tying up a meshok etc.
Keep the ideas coming in.

Thanks Colin- I'll probably go with the Nagant this time, as I am planning on doing some running around with the squads at Belvoir.

really sorry - but i'm going to have to - once again back out, i have to be at archaeological excavations and unfortunatley my course leader won't allow time off for re-enactments, i'm really annoyed as they have only just told us we'll be needed at these excavations!
