Hello all;
My name is Christian Schatz, and I have been a reenactor for about 17yrs. I started doing German, then went US, then tried US civil war, then back to german, then Brit., now I am doing French Legion and throwing my lot in with the soviets.
I have always found combat engineers interesting and have decided to give it a try. Getting most of my kit from Trident and odds and ends from ebay. Well that about sums it up.

Hi Christian ,
we have all just returned for a "unit deployment" to Belvoir Castle where we have been rained on ,frozen and sun burned !
We all ache but have had agreat time and to find you waiting for us on the forum is a very pleasant surpries.
I can see you have tried or experienced a lot of different time periods snd so to do/or have some of our members so I hope there will be a lot to share with you.
If you are about buy from anyone it is worth asking people like Ade Stephenson and Rob Hymer for advice on what to get.
Trident offer a lot and I buy frome them often ; but ask Ade for guidance to help you spend wisely.
Good to have you aboard and it will be great getting to know you.
