Ok i m probably asking a stupid question but where red fleet men equiped with gas masks or did thay just have the bag for ammo storage and what type of gas mask :?: I need to know if il just buy a bag or both a gas mask and a bag

Hi Daniel, I would just buy the bag.

But sailors would have been issued with respirators. I would imagine the patterns would have been the same ones as the Army.

Comrade, A Respirator is part of their Fighting Order, The historical Documents ( mostly Serving Guns) show them being Carried when Closed up for Action...

the red fleet did were gas masks,same as infantry.
if it was up to me i would get both.

More than that - they say that dead men tell no tales, but many of the skeletons exhumed during the battlefield archeological digs have the mask lying just by them as if they were wearing an invisible bag - so it's safe to say that certantly during the early part of the war they were indeed carried.
