It's an English expression meaning it's good to see members participating in the event, so we at home in wet old England can feel we were somehow part of that event being represented by the lads who went over.

Ok, i missunderstood it when you said lads from up north I thaught you ment us from Sweden, of corse we are flying our own flag  Anyone else have som photos? Thanks for posting the videos and pictures comrades.
It looks like it was an impressive battle this year.The armour looked good and the attack on the german lines at the end looked very realistic.
Lots of Red Army men giving the germans a hard time.
Any idea how many people took part? it looked like over 150 at least.

Thanks for posting that link Sokolov,our comrades look very pleased with themselves.It makes me wish I had made the trip.I must try harder for next years battle.
I like the T34/76 and the BA20 is fantastic,there is talk in the UK about building an armoured car to use here.It would be nice to have some more armour in our battles.

As an event it has grown a lot in the last couple of years - more people, more technik, and for the audience, small trade stands selling shashlik and even some voina veshi dealers selling items of uniform and equipment.
I was also at Pushkin the previous day.
