Does anyone know this tank and what is wrong with the engine?

If it could be fixed easily the owner would probably be selling it for a lot more.

Come on Martin, you know you want it. You will have plenty of volunteers to help you work on it. Plus with Neil's expertise you can't go far wrong.

Cheers, Ade.

(PS: we saw Martin at Beltring and he is thinking about bidding  )

Cheers, Ade.

Ahh all over. Think it's going to Germany. I was really thinking about it, but a weekend at Beltring mostly taken up with trying to sort out a dodgy wireing system, then a short on the battery (lots of smoke and a bit of a fire. Cost £110 for a new one) and finally a broken damper, on a friends kubel.
The result being a pissed off and stessed friend, who left early Sun to nurse the poor thing home.
Realisation that vehicles are for life and not just for Christmas

Another T34/85 on Milweb.

http://www.milweb.net/webverts/41317/

Quite if this is a WW2 example I will leave to others to answers.

The owners are obviously trying to push up the value of T34/85's but quite if the market is there is questionable.
Still in theroy lots to import if the dealers think it is worth the expense.

Nice. Would have to have a test drive first! At least you're not getting a meccano set for the money. I'll sell the house and buy it........ or perhaps not, my double bed and extra thick king size duvet wouldn't fit in it:)

Another world record price being asked for a T34/85 here.

http://www.milweb.net/webverts/47824/

Wish I got one when they were much cheaper.

I thought £50,000 for the T34/85 in my previous post was a record but now there is this one.

http://www.milweb.net/classifieds/large ... 0618&cat=1

Not even WW2 production.
